Seat design and test analysis for anti-whiplash hurt

Abstract:

FJC developed the Active seat Back Control Systems(ABCS) and did some improvement on seat structure to reduce the injury. After Euro NCAP Whiplash test, the conclusion is that using ABCS or improvement on the seat frame and foam can enhance Euro NCAP Whiplash test score and reduce passenger injury.
