Study on endurance of flexible-plate coupling under high-speed and dynamic load conditions

Conventional flexible plate coupling works unsatisfactorily under high speed and dynamic load conditions,such as in high speed single cylinder motorcycle engine test bed.In the paper,failure phenomena of pin driving flexible plate coupling was studied experimentally.Effects of construction of coupling,size and material of flexible plate on service life of coupling were investigated in detail.A clamping ring type flexible plate coupling was developed which was characterized by smooth,endurable work and being tolerant of radial and axial offset.Tested with a high speed and dynamic load single cylinder gasoline engine,developed coupling with clamping ring showed more than 4 times as much life span as it without clamping ring.

Parameter-self-adjusted fuzzy control method applied to semi-active air spring suspension of vehicle

A parameter self adjusted fuzzy control method was applied to semi active air spring suspension of vehicle. A quarter car model and its parameter self adjusted fuzzy controller were built, and computer simulations were carried out with analogous Grade B road as input and ride comfort as evaluation criterion. The results show that the road comfort is improved by the use of the fuzzy controller and the suspension performs robustly at transient driving conditions.

Variation of bulldozing resistance of model blade in different working media

Bulldozing resistances of model blade have been tested in different working media and effects of media on resistance were analyzed.Relationship between bulldozing resistance and cutting angle was discussed.Medium particle flow along blade surface and adhesion to it were observed.A mathematical model of blade bulldozing resistance in different working media has been established according to the resistance curves regressed from test data,providing a basis for blade performance analysis in blade and its rod lever system software of 320 HP crawler bulldozer.

Study on framework of urban traffic guidance systems

The paper principally based on issues of the actual operation of urban traffic control and basic facilities available in urban areas in China,offers a convenient framework suitable for circumstance of urban traffic guidance system oriented towards China cities.It also outlines how each subsystem in the framework to link and information exchange.Based on the discussion above,detailed discussion about the functions of each subsystem is also provided in the paper.The subsystems coordinate and underlie an integrated system,which makes efficient control over ubran traffic possible as well as the chance of traffic congestion.

Positioning method in pavement surface distress detecting system

Positioning is an important part in pavement surface distress detecting system.Using a Kalman filter to deal with the data from GPS receiver,a method to fuse data from the GPS receiver and distance sensor was presented.The algorithm can give more precise location information for the distressed pavement surface image.The algorithm has been validated by the road test.

The compute method about effectiveness of random operation time and comfort degree is pointed out through the random analysis on the operation time and comfort in the same line of different transportation form. In order to improve the accuracy of the evaluation, some evaluation standard are increased to evaluate transportation price effectively.

Applying the theory of Multiple Criteria Decision Making(MCDM) to Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) research,the paper points out that in some cases there exist weight relationships between DEA and MCDM.Based on the weight relationships,an approach to construct reliable Assurance Regions (AR) restrictions required in DEA/AR models is developed by slightly modifying and using the swing weighting technique.Then,the approach is applied to the efficiency analysis of investments in science and technology (S&T) to show that it is applicable to real world problems of efficiency evaluations.

A solution for vehicle multi energy powertrain embedded system is presented in this paper.Based on CAN bus technique,a distributed real time controller local network for car is established.Selection of microcontroller and system configure in the embedded system,composition and key technique of CAN network,software structure and control algorithm are given.Experiment results show that this solution is reasonable and the multi energy powertrain embedded system can work stably with high reliability,low hardware cost,and satisfied working performance.

Based on the fuel consumption model given in the HDM-Ⅲ model system by the world bank,a low temperature vehicle fuel consumption model for frigid regions of China was established from vehicle fuel consumption tests on flat and straight sections of different roads under low temperature conditions,giving the correction to HDM-Ⅲ for its application in frigid regions of China.

An experimental study has been taken to determine the heat transfer characteristics of vacuum phase change component with complex working medium and empirical expressions have been derived.The results show that the optimum inclination angle of the component is 30?,its filling rate is 18%.This paper provides basis for the design of vacclum phase change heating system.

Due to the exceptions existing in the workflow systems,in this paper,a transaction based workflow exception handling model;the mechanisms for monitoring analyzing and handling of exceptions;and the additional methods for triggering and backward recovery;are presented.The exceptional event base according to ECA rules have been established.The monitoring,analyzing and handling of exceptions are realized,a monitoring algorithm is also given.Based on these,the methods and algorithms of static and dynamic modification for the workflow to solve the data consistency and correctness after exception handling are discussed.

Complex system control strategy based on a novel CMAC-type neural network

On the basis of discrete Taylor series,this paper proposes a novel CMAC neural networkor (DTS CMAC), including an interpolation algorithm and a training algorithm, which is capable of implementing error free approximations to multi variable polynomial functions of arbitrary order. The network offers several advantages such as high learning precision and much smaller memory requirement without data collision problem compared to the conventional CMAC-type neural network.Based on DTS CMAC,a complex on line system control strategy with high performance,independent on system mathematic model,robust,and universal is designed.Simulation results verify that this proposed control strategy is both feasible and efficient.

Method for real-time setup of 3-D continous surface model using distance transducers

A method to set up the 3 dimensional continuous surface model for real objects is presented in this paper.The distance data from different orientations of a real object is collected into the model by distance transducers.This method has the advantage of quick in processing and may be used in real time applications.By using the algorithm rules discussed in this article,the computational time will be no more than one minute in creating a 3 D pattern with continuous surface from 180?120 measured data on a SUN workstation.

Chaotic synchronization of Lorenz systems and secure communication

The chaotic synchronization of Lorenz systems are investigated via a nonlinear feedback method.The stability in zero of the error dynamical system of the two Lorenz systems is verified by the second Lyapunov method.The synchronization conditions are that two systems have the same equation construction and the same parameters and no relation to the initial values of the response system.A schem of chaotic communication based on the chaotic synchronization is presented.The message signals is mixed to the chaotic drive signals to be the pretend transmitted signals.The equation construction and the parameters of the response system can be the cipher based on the synchronization to control the synchronization of two systems.The message signals are recovered and the secure communication is achieved.

Modified corn starch mixed with vegetable gum XDF used for drilling of oil wells is described in this paper.The physical and chemical properise,usage and mixing ratio of this modified starch are also given.Meanwhile,the ingredients of drilling mud and the factors affecting the colloid are studied.This kind of mixture has the characteristics of high viscosity,sufficient fluidity,low friction resistance and low residue,and can give the best performance under 80℃.

A fuzzy approach to measure for performance of a machinery design concept alternative (MDCA) is firstly presented.Then,according to the principle of value engineering,a new approach to evaluate MDCAs is given by generalizing the model of data envelopment analysis (DEA) to the fuzzy environment.Finally,a case study is presented to verify the given approach is applicable for real world evaluation problems of MDCA.

Based on the analysis of the utility functions of security investor,the paper gives the known decision rules to select securities,i.e.the first stochastic domination,the second stochastic domination,and the third stochastic domination.According to characteristics of the decreasing absolute risk averter′s utility functions, the paper analyzes and proves its decision rules,gives the theorem 4 and theorem 5.At last,the paper point out that the third stochastic domination is suitable for the decreasing absolute risk averter to select securities to invest.

Optimization of control limits of control charts in quality control

Being aimed at the method which taken "x±3σ" as the control limits of control charts in quality control,took the x-R control charts for an example,a new opinion of the optical limits was pointed out through the analysis of the variation between the control limits of control charts () and the probabilities as well as the costs of the two types of the errors (α and β).We established a mathematical model for its costs,gave out the major parts of the researching process and the optical formula for the control limits of control charts (K),and made a further discussion and extension for the generalization as well as the advantages of its results by the comparison with the results with x±3σ method.

A long range controllable variable speed limit sign has been designed according to traffic regulations to alleviate traffic congestion problem.The sign is controlled by a MCS 51 single chip microprocessor and equipped with a wireless communication system and can be long range controlled by the person on duty in traffic control center or toll stations.

A math. model for current of proportional valve using PWM control theory and eletro hydraulic proportional control was presented.The relations between duty ratio (D) and average current(I),duty ratio (D) and fluctuation current (dI) in PWM control,and the theory of chopper stabilized current control were discussed.The application of specific circuit was given.The results provide the basic method for the design of the electro hydraulic proportional control system.

A control system based on multiple variable fuzzy neural network theory for an engine test bed is presented.Application of the system on an engine test system composed of gasoline engine BJ492QA and dynamometer KH PDWC110A showed that fuzzy neural controller based on BP neural network is characterized by real time processing capability,small storage requirement,fast learning,small control overshoot and short stabilizing time.

Experimental study on vacuum freeze-drying greenery vegetable

This experiment was performed on the LGJ 1.5 vacuum freeze drying equipment.The best technology parameter of spinach and coriander,better process flow and freeze drying curve were attained by orthogonal test.After vacuum packaging and storing the freeze dried spinach and coriander the quality analyze was performed.The results show that the vacuum freeze dried spinach and coriander′s reproductivity is good.The fresh vegetable′s color,flavor,shape and their nutrient matter are effectively sustained.
