Method for the DOA estimation of wideband coherent signals based on matrix reconstruction

Abstract:

Some classic methods for DOA estimation about wideband signals need constructing focusing matrices and preestimating directionsofarrival(DOA) of wideband signals. So the focusing matrices and estimative directionsofarrival of signals will directly influence the performance of the classic methods. Based on subband data matrix, a set of new matrices was reconstruct, and the DOA estimation was carried out using MUSIC method. The simulation results show that the performance of the proposed method is close and even superior to the RSS method.
