Compoundaxis macromicro control and modeling of laser weapon tracking system

Abstract:

In the light of the problems concerning highprecision demand and missthetarget time delay in the laser weapon tracking system(LWTS), the basic principles of the compoundaxis macromicro control(CAMMC) were expounded. The three derivatives model of maneuvering target was analyzed. A CAMMC system was constructed for LWTS based on Kalman predictor. Taking the equivalent sinusoidal movement and the uniform linear movement as examples, the system was simulated. The results showed that the precision of the CAMMC is higher than that of singeldetector control, and the CAMMC system is simple and suitable for engineering implementation.
