Application of fault diagnosis fuzzy expert system based on information fusion

Abstract: With the increasing of equipment fault complexity,traditional expert system fault diagnosis methods can not provide accurate decision.In order to solve the problems in power plant equipment fault diagnosis,a method by the combination of fuzzy theory on the basis of information fusion and expert system was proposed.This method with multi-sensors can monitor power plant equipment on line.Lower error and omission diagnosis ratios,and higher correct diagnosis ratio are obtained by using this method compared to the conventional methods when it was applied in Fengman hydropower plant digital simulation system.The simulation results show that this method is easy,realizable,general,and practical in the power plant equipment fault diagnosis.
