Algorithm for channel prediction based on preprocessing

Abstract: Due to heavy computational complexity existing in the ESPRIT algorithm of rapidly time variant fading channel prediction, an algorithm for channels prediction based on the double smoothing technique and reassembling the covariance matrix is given。Through the theoretical analysis and simulation, it has been indicated that the modified algorithm can reduce dimensions of the covariance matrix and decrease the computational complexity。Meanwhile it can reduce the mean-root-square error of channel's prediction coefficient.
