Compression algorithm of computer-generated hologram based on artificial neural network

Abstract:

Due to the information of computer-generated hologram is too enormous to transmit and store,a hologram compression algorithm was proposed based on artificial neural network.A set of training sample made of multi-dimensional vectors was obtained by preprocessing and used to train the neural network.The neuron numbers in input layer and hidden layer was adjusted so that the data volume of computer-generated hologram can be compressed with various ratios in both layers.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is uncomplicated and rapid.In addition,it has better self-adaptation and intelligent.The reconstructed image is obtained with relative large compression ratio and the quality is satisfied.
