Structure of nonlinear finite element model of lightweight aggregate concrete share wall and the factors affecting seismic performance

Abstract: Six common lightweight aggregates are chosen as the concrete materials to investigate the anti-vibration performance of the shear wall. Software ANSYS is employed to construct nonlinear finite element model of the lightweight aggregate concrete shear wall. Results show that the hysteresis curve obtained by the finite element model is in excellent agreement with the experimental hysteresis curve, which verifies that this method can effectively deal with practical engineering problems. On this basis, the main factors and their influences on the seismic performance of the lightweight aggregate concrete shear wall are analyzed by experiment. This research may provide the guidance to construction worker for better practical architectural design.
