Spatial Fractional Complex Diffusion for Desert Seismic Random Noise Attenuation

摘要: 沙漠地震勘探数据信噪比低,随机噪声主要为非平稳、非高斯的低频色噪声,利用常规噪声压制方法很难有效辨识与表征地震勘探信号,导致弱纹理结构信号的损失。针对此问题,引入分数阶梯度算子,提出空间分数阶复扩散随机噪声压制算法。该算法利用空间分数阶梯度增强地震信号的弱纹理和细节,在复扩散框架下,根据同相轴结构控制扩散强度。实验采用合成地震勘探数据和实际沙漠地震勘探数据评估算法性能,结果表明,提出的空间分数阶复扩散滤波算法可压制沙漠勘探随机噪声并保留有效信号结构。

Abstract: For desert seismic data with low signal-to-noise ratio,random noise is mainly non-stationary and non-Gaussian low-frequency colored noise. It is difficult to effectively identify and characterize seismic signals by using conventional noise suppression methods,resulting in the loss of signals with weak textural structure. The fractional order gradient operator is introduced,and a spatial fractional complex diffusion based seismic random noise suppression algorithm is proposed. The spatial fractional order gradient is used to enhance the weak texture and details of seismic signals,and the diffusion intensity is controlled according to the structures of seismic events under the complex diffusion framework. The synthetic seismic data and field desert seismic data are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm. The experimental results show that the spatial fractional complex diffusion filtering algorithm can suppress random noise and retain the effective signal structure in desert seismic data.
