Design of Printing Density Detection System Based on ARM

摘要: 为及时纠正印刷错误, 提高印刷质量, 构建了一个基于 ARM(Advanced RISC Machines)芯片的印版密度检测系统。 该系统可使印刷过程中的密度检测数字化、 自动化和系统化。 在硬件上采用 IMAGERECEIVER 作为图像采集模块, 使用嵌入式 CMOS(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)图像采集(OV511+OV7620)芯片的 USB 摄像头作为图像采集设备; PPI-DMA(Pixel Per Inch-Direct Memory Access)作为高速数据传输通道; LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)作为图像显示器; Keyboard 作为人机交互设备。 软件上, 首先对采集图像进行灰度化、二值化, 而后进行网点面积计算, 最终实现印版网点密度检测的功能。 测试结果表明, 该系统能实现印版密度检测。

Abstract:  To correct printing mistakes timely and improve print quality, a printing density detection system based on ARM ( Advanced RISC Machines) chips is provided. The system can make density detection digitization and automation, systematic in the printing process. IMAGERECEIVER is used as an image acquisition module, Embedded CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) image acquisition chips(OV511 and OV7620) are used as an image capture device, PPI-DMA (Pixel Per Inch-Direct Memory Access) is used as high-speed data transmission channel, LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is used as an image display, keyboard is used as a human interface device. The images are transformed to grayscale images and digitized images, and then the dot area is calculated. Finally, the function of printing dot density detection is performed. The experiment results show that the system can achieve printing density detection.
