Abstract: A spiral capacitive sensor model is eztablished in the demand for two-phase flow measurement. The working principle and characteristics of spiral capacitive sensor are studied. A flow detection method is proposed based on real-time cross-correlation algorithm. This method is intended to be used in the measurement process of the velocity and volume of two-phase flow by using spiral capacitive sensor. Analyzed the realizability of real-time cross-correlation algorithm, and tested the algorithm via Matlab simulation. Used converter IC for capacitive signals CAV424 in the model to detect the signal of the sensor, and used stm32 microprocessor to run the real-time cross-correlation algorithm process.
