Abstract:

Land subsidence, accompanied by the aquifer media compaction process, is a large global sphere of influence and multiple geological disasters, which is one of the key triggers that lead to hydrogeological parameter spatial variability and loss. And this variability is the real application bottlenecks to many land subsidence model. Based on the above, the authors designed a preliminary experiment on the impact of aquifer characteristics parameter caused by land subsidence. The results indicated that aquifer hydrogeological parameters, especially hydraulic conductivity and specific yield, changed significantly before and after compaction process. Hydraulic conductivity showed near-linear decreasing trend with R2 between 0.959 2 and 0.997 1 as the aquifer media compaction process, while specific yield was in significant differences on complex decline trend besides the sharp decreasing process. Hydro-geological characteristics showed dramatic variability because of the aquifer media characteristics and its scale effects. There were certain linear features between hydraulic conductivity and specific yield in the case of model test scale, with linear correlation function slope of 0.001 3-0.005 1 and intercept of 0.011 6-0.038 1,which were basically similar and in the same order of magnitude.
