摘要/Abstract

摘要： 简要综述了元胞自动机的研究进展及取得的一些重要成果. 特别是由元胞自动机的自我繁衍导致的人工生命的概念、特征及目前存在的问题.

Abstract: The present paper deals with the advances and some important results about the studies on the cellular automata, expecially the artific ial life and its character and the problems caused by the self-reproduction of a cellular automata.
