Abstract: In this paper is the concept of a u₀ ordered bounded open set introduced. By virtue of the fixed point index for the completely continuous operator on an unbounded set, the fixed point theorem of cone expansion and compression for the completely continuous operator on an unbounded set is proved in semi-ordered Banach spaces.
