Regular Solutions for a Class of Non-Newtonian Double-Diffusive Convection Models

Abstract: We considered the well-posedness of solution to the initial-boundary value problem for a class of non-Newtonian double-diffusive convection models. Under periodic boundary conditions in three-dimensional space, by using the Galerkin method combined with a priori estimates, we prove the existence of global regular solutions to the system when the initial data are appropriately small and the power-law index satisfies 5/3≤p<2.
