网络丢包对多视点3D视频质量的影响

摘要:

为研究网络传输差错对多视点立体视频质量的影响,分析多视点视频在丢包网络中的差错传播并推导多视点视频差错传播的理论计算公式,通过仿真实验研究丢包和误码对立体视频播放效果的影响。根据人眼所能忍受的图像质量和立体感减弱的程度,近似确定出可接受的立体视频在IP网络传输中的丢包率和错误率。

Abstract:

Theoretical analysis and experimental study were applied in the research of the impact of network transmission errors on the multi-view 3D video quality.Error propagation of multi-view video over packet-loss networks was analysed as well as the theoretical formula of error propagation was derived.The impact of packet loss and bit error on the 3D video quality was studied though simulation methods.Acceptable loss rate and error rate of the stereoscopic video transmitted over the IP network were approximately determined according to the tolerance of the human eye on the decline in the image quality and depth sensation.
