Influence of double wave door adaptive threshold value on measurement precision of beam quality factor M2

Abstract: To improve the measurement accuracy of beam quality M2 obtained by artificial setting threshold method based on experience or floating threshold method,a double gate adaptive threshold method was presented. Experimental results indicate that beam quality M2 factor relative error of proposed method is the lowest among three methods,and its standard deviation (STDEV) value is less than 0.1. The STDEV value of beam width in x direction and y direction are 0.0935 and 0.0962, respectively, which are less than 1%,satisfying the measurement requirement of beam quality M2.
