Design of long-range controllable variable speed limit sign

Abstract: A long range controllable variable speed limit sign has been designed according to traffic regulations to alleviate traffic congestion problem.The sign is controlled by a MCS 51 single chip microprocessor and equipped with a wireless communication system and can be long range controlled by the person on duty in traffic control center or toll stations.
