Dynamic braking performance prediction and analysis of hydrodynamic retarder

Abstract:

In order to predict and evaluate braking capacity comprehensively of designed products,CFD numerical simulation method was taken to predict dynamic braking performance of hydrodynamic retarder.Through simulating and analyzing,two important curves are gotten.One is the relation between braking moment and filling rate,the other is the relation between braking moment and braking time.All these work will provide more reliable method for predicting its capacity during the hydrodynamic retarder design.
