聚醚醚酮/聚酯液晶二元和三元增容共混体系的等温结晶动力学及结晶形态

Crystallization Kinetics and Crystalline Morphology ofCompatibilized Blends of Liquid Crystalline Polymer with PEEK

摘要: 采取熔融共混方法制备了聚醚醚酮(PEEK)和聚酯液晶(TLCP)二元和三元增容共混物, 用DSC和PLM对 共混物的结晶行为和结晶形态进行了研究. 结果表明, TLCP的存在使PEEK的结晶温度和结晶起始温度均略有升高, 增容剂(RCP)的加入延缓了PEEK结晶过程. 等温结晶动力学研究表明, 液晶的加入加快了聚醚醚酮的结晶速度, 但随其含量增加结晶速度降低. 与二元共混物相比, 加入增容剂后对聚醚醚酮的结晶速度基本无影响. 增容后的聚醚醚酮球晶的尺寸下降, 很难看到Maltese十字消光.

Abstract: A fully aromatic liquid crystalline polyester (TLCP) was blended with poly(ether ether ketone), PEEK. Random copolymer (RCP) was used as the compatibilizer in the blends. The isothermal crystallization kinetics and morphologies of compatibilized blends were studied with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and polar light micrograph (PLM). TLCP acted as a heterogenous nucleation sites to accelerate the crystallization of PEEK. However, PEEK crystallization rate decreased with increasing TLCP fraction. Isothermal crystallization exotherms showed that the addition of RCP showed no significant influence on the crystallization of PEEK in blends. PLM observation showed that it was difficult to discern the single PEEK spherulites.
