摘要: 研究以离散的点构造三维物体的几何模型, 以每个离 散点为圆心, 构造不同半径的圆, 覆盖在三维几何模型表面, 从而绘制该几何模型表示的几 何物体的真实感图形. 该方法与传统的多边形网格方法相比, 具有存储量小、 计算量小、 易于实现的特点.

关键词: 离散点造型, 点域, 曲面剖分, 多边形网格

Abstract: A new method based on discrete points is proposed to mo del 3-D objects. Balls, which center at these discrete points and have differen t radiuses, were used to cover the surfaces of the objects to render the object s with realism. Compared with the classic mesh-based method, our method has the advantages of low storage, low calculation cost and implementation facilitation .
