NaI(Tl)闪烁探测器单能γ谱的Compton坪台

摘要:

利用Compton散射截面KleinNishina公式和Monte\|Carlo粒子输运(MCNP)程序研究NaI(Tl)闪烁探测器单能γ能谱的Compton坪台. 通过考虑光子在探头闪烁晶体中的次级效应及探测器的能谱展宽等因素, MCNP程序模拟所得NaI(Tl)探测器单能γ能谱的Compton坪台与实验能谱符合较好, 并解释了理论曲线与实验曲线存在差异的原因.

Abstract:

Compton plateau in the  137Cs γray spectrum measured by a NaI(Tl) detector was studied via the KleinNishina formula of Compton scattering differential cross section, which is deduced from the Dirac formula of quantum mechanics, and   the MCNP simulation program also. There is distinct difference between the theoretical calculation and the experimental result, which is found to come from both the photon secondary effect in the scintillation crystal and the spectrum widening. By correction of these two effects, the MCNP simulation result is in  very good agreement with the experimental data.
