Preparation, Characterization and Photocatalytic Activity ofKeggin Type of Phosphotungstic Acid Salts

摘要:

采用液相法制备催化剂Mg1.5PW12O40,Ba1.5PW12O40,Ca1.5PW12O40,Na3PW12O40,K3PW12O40和(NH4)3PW12O40 6种Keggin型磷钨酸盐, 并采用X射线衍射(XRD)和透射电子显微镜(TEM)表征其微观结构和表面形貌. 以250 W高压汞灯为紫外光源, 通过光催化降解甲基橙评估其光催化活性. 实验结果表明: 6种粒子均保持基本的Keggin结构骨架, 属于Keggin[KG*8]结构杂多酸型催化剂; Mg1.5PW12O40,Ba1.5PW12O40和Ca1.5PW12O40降解甲基橙的活性较高, 其中Mg1.5PW12O40的活性最高.

Abstract:

Six phosphotungstic acid salts of Keggin type such as Mg1.5PW12O40,Ba1.5PW12O40,Ca1.5PW12O40,Na3PW12O40,K3PW12O40and (NH4)3PW12O40 were prepared by means of liquid phase method and the surface morphologies and microstructures of the samples were characterized by Xray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The photocatalytic activities of the catalysts were investigated by photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange with  250 W high pressure mercury lamp as ultraviolet light source. The results show that the six salt particles keep basic Keggin structure frame, belonging to the Keggin structure heteropoly acid type catalyst. The catalysts that have the better activities for the degradation of methyl orange are Mg1.5PW12O40,Ba1.5PW12O40and Ca1.5PW12O40, among which Mg1.5PW12O40 is the best.
