Influence of Wind Power Generation System Parameterson Hopf Bifurcation

Abstract:

Based on the continuation method, active power and reactive power inputted by wind power and the admittance of wind power generation system were taken as bifurcation parameters, Hopf bifurcation points and twoparameter Hopf bifurcation boundary were calculated to analyze theinfluences of the system parameters on the voltage stability of wind power generation system. Meanwhile, the control action of static var compensation on Hopf bifurcation was researched. Research result shows that reactive power is a main Hopf bifurcation parameter, and Hopf bifurcation can be effectively delayed by static var compensation.
