Abstract:

Spherical MgCl₂ support was prepared at a low stirring dispersion speed in a selfdesigned magnetic stirring reactor. SEM measurement showed spherical support had nice morphology. The particle size distribution of the support was even. The ethanol and water mass fraction of the support were determined through the thermogravimetry. Spherical supported ZieglerNatta catalysts for propylene polymerization showed a high activity, obtaining spherical polypropylene particles.
