Abstract: By means of time-resolved laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopic technique, two samples of Er3+ ∶YAG with 10.5% and 8.4% (molecular fraction) concentrations were resonantly excited with ultraviolet lasers at 262 nm and 276 nm, and the fluorescence spectra were recorded and the peak transitions were assigned in detail. The corresponding radiative transition probabilities were calculated via Judd-Oflet theory. It has been found that the experimental fluorescence intensity ratio and the theoretical radiative transition probability ratio are in good agreement.
