Abstract: Via the policy based network management in mobile environment, predicted policy can be generated according to the prediction of mobility and required resource of the mobile node so as to manage mobile network more neatly by executing predicted policy before mobile node arrivals. Because predicted information is uncertain and ambiguous, the predicted policy is also uncertain. In view of this problem, this paper proposes a way to update the predicted policy with one\|point random sets coverage theory, and declares its reasonableness. With the executed policy as experience information, it can ensure the predicted policy which has been updated will be more up to the realistic requirements.

Key words: one-point random setscoverage theory, predicted policy, mobile prediction, resource allocation
