Abstract: The mixed amorphous composites of soluble salts NaNO2 and KNO2 were prepared by ice sublimation method. At the condition of n(NaNO2)∶n(KNO2)=1∶1, the relative intensity of the diffraction peak of the amorphous product reaches the maximum; and the length of short range order decreased from 6.7 nm to 4.8 nm while the proportion of NaNO2 to KNO2 increase. Specially, the minimum of 3.7 nm reaches at the condition of n(NaNO2)∶n(KNO2)=2∶1. So we believe new amorphous structure that is different from pure NaNO2 or KNO2 amorphous structure has been formed.
