Abstract:
The author proposed an optimal perfectly matched layer (PML) method with a small parameter ε0 for solving scattering problem in twolayered media. By introducing a small parameter ε0 in the absorption function, the calculation of the scattering problem to optimize the PML method did not depend on the thickness δ of the PML layer. The results show that the numerical solution converges exponentially to the original problem as long as the parameter ε0 is sufficiently small.
