Abstract:

The authors studied a class of nonlinear  commuting maps (namely, modulo linear commuting map) on triangular algebras, described the forms of such maps, and gave such a sufficient condition that every modulo linear commuting map on triangular algebras is proper. As an application, it is proved that every modulo linear commuting map on nest algebras is proper.
