Hydrothermal Synthesis, Crystal Structure and FluorescenceProperty of New 3D Supramolecular Compound:[Cd2(Dppz)4(1,2-BDC)2]·4H2O

Abstract: A supermolecular compound, [Cd2(Dppz)4(1,2-BDC)2]·4H2O was obtained from the hydrothermal reaction of cadium(Ⅱ) nitrate with mixed ligands [phthalic acid (1,2-H2BDC) and dipyrido[3,2-a: 2′,3′-c]phenazine(Dppz)], and structurally characterized by singlecrystal Xray diffraction. Result reveals that the compound belongs to the monoclinic system wit h space group C2/c. The cell parameters are: a=2.496 17(10) nm, b=1.7 15 96(10) nm, c=1.822 32(8) nm, β=96.293(1)°, V =7.758 6(6) nm3,  Z=4, R1=0.045 6, wR2=0.093 9. The result of fluorescence spectrum shows that the title compound exhibits blue emission in the solid state at room temperature.
