Abstract: On the basis of analyzing the need of the area net, the total request and target of the network construction are put forward. The programming of the LAN was discussed, the system framework mode, soft hardware terrace and safe measures of network were poined out. The net project of the LAN was mainly exploited, different solution projects were presented in view of the different requirements of office and education of school. The article introduces the framework of the LAN. Finally, it makes the summingup and thinking to the framework of LAN.
