A Multispeedlevel and Multienergylevel Lattice Boltzmann Model for Compressible Navier-Stokes Equations

Abstract: We proposed a 25bit lattice Boltzmann model for the compressible NavierStokes equations. It is based on threespeedlevel and threeenergylevel. We used the conservation laws of the mass, momentum and energy, and the method of higher moments of the equilibrium distribution functions to get the compressible NavierStokes equations with the second accuracy of the truncation errors. The numerical result shows the model has a higher accuracy and resolution than the first accuracy model.
