Abstract: Using the Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality approach, we considered the reducedorder H∞ filtering problem for singular neutral systems. Firstly, some sufficient conditions for the reducedorder H∞ filter of singular neutral systems were given such that the resulting filtering error system was asymptotically stable and H∞ norm was less than a given performance index γ. Secondly, the expression of the reducedorder H∞ filters were given in the form of parametric display. Numerical results show that the conclusions are feasible and effective.
