Abstract:

We constructed and analyzed an example of a secondorder threepoint boundary value problem. First, we used the analysis of upper and lower solution method to prove that the  solutions of this kind of problems of both resonance and nonresonance  cases, respectively are countably infinite, and finally, gave a numerical solution of such problem using  shooting method and Newton iterative method, and the corresponding image analyses.

Key words: threepoint boundary value problem, resonance condition and nonresonance condition, upper solution and low solution
