Abstract:

We applied the critical point theory for strongly indefinite functional to study timeperiodic solutions of nonlinear wave equations. A new existence result for the nontrivial timeperiodic solutions of asymptotically linear wave equations is obtained when the nonlinearity is not assumed to satisfy any resonance or nonresonance conditions at infinity.
