Design of Laser Ranging System Based on AD500-9

Abstract:

Laser ranging system was designed  based on AD500-9. The system is composed of four parts: narrow pulse laser emission circuit,  APD bias circuit, weak photoelectricity signal processing circuit, and time measurement circuit. The timing circuit was tested and verified with selfdesigned standard timing generator. It has realized 10-10 level time measurement via linear fitting. The analysis shows the distance measurement error is limited to ±0.1 m in outdoor ranging experiment by  software calibration method.
