Abstract: By using transmission matrix, we studied transmission characteristics of onedimensional photonic crystals with (AB)nD(BA)n and (AB)nDF(BA)n structure, in which the layers D and F were rotating magnetic material. We analyzed the influence of it on transmission rate by changing its external magnetic field. The results show that with the change of external magnetic field intensity, the defect mode can be produced and eliminated, and the position, number and spectral width of the defect modes are all changed. Therefore, the tunability of transmission of photonic crystal can be realized by changing the external magnetic field intensity.
