Routing Algorithm Based on Improved Short-Chain Aggregation Strategy for Wireless Sensor Network

Abstract: In order to prolong the network lifetime and timeliness of data transmission, we proposed a routing algorithm based on improved short-chain aggregation strategy for wireless sensor network. Firstly, we analyzed the protocol structure of wireless sensor networks. Considering the energy consumption of nodes in the operation process of wireless sensor networks, we designed an improved routing algorithm according to the chain data acquisition protocol. Secondly, the greedy algorithm was used to find the neighbor nodes, and the distance threshold equation was introduced to realize the establishment of the chain. After the establishment of the chain, the routing cluster head was selected by comprehensively considering the energy consumption and residual energy of the node transmission data, so as to prolong the network life and improve the data transmission efficiency. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithm was verified by MATLAB software simulation experiment. The simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively control the energy balance of the network, prolong the network lifetime, and the operation effect is good.
