Abstract: Using self-consistent field theory lattice model, we studied the effect of polymer concentration and polymer chain model on micelle formation in amphiphilic diblock copolymer solutions by calculating phase diagram and specific heat. The results show that the temperature of micelle formation increases gradually with the increase of polymer concentration. Compared with direct backfolding polymer chain model, the non-direct backfolding polymer chain model increases the excluded volume effect, which is favorable to unimer-micelle transition. However, the excluded volume effect limits the increase of micelle aggregation to a certain extent.
