Abstract: In view of the semiconductor laser as a backlight source of liquid crystal display (LCD) backlight module, we used TN type liquid crystal E7 to construct speckle suppression device, and analyzed the effects of frequency and voltage on speckle suppression. The results show that the speckle contrast is reduced from 6.52% to 2.80%, which makes the human eye can not detect speckle.
