Stability Criteria for ContinuousTime TakagiSugeno-Fuzzy Systems with TimeVarying Uncertainties

Abstract:

A new kind of stability criteria was proposed for addressing the problem of stability analysis of continuoustime nonlinear systems with timevarying uncertainties based on the TakagiSugeno fuzzy model. In the process of stability analysis, a parameterdependent Lyapunov function and two methods for introducing additional variables were used. Since more freedom can be introduced in virtue of the above measures, the obtained stability criteria are less conservative than some existing results. More improtantly, the proposed results are given in terms of linear matrix inequality, which is easily solved via standard numerical software. Finally, a numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
