Abstract: This paper introduces the actualities and the developing trend of the diesel engine exhaust particle filter and its regeneration techni ques, dissertates the advantages and disadvantages of existing aftertreatment techniques, and emphasizes the regeneration technique of the diesel engine exhaust particle filter, which combines microwave heating with catalysis. Compared with the original equipment, the predominance of applying microwave heating combined with catalysis regeneration technique is obvious. As can be shown in this expe riment, diesel engine exhaust particles can be reduced by 98.2%, and it will b e one of the most perspective aftertreatment techniques.
