Abstract:

To achieve fast charging of lithium battery, based on MSP430 microprocessor, an intelligent li-ion battery charging system with voltage and current detection function was designed.By collecting the values of voltage and current,and making judgment on charging status of the battery,PWM（Pulse Width Modulation)signal was adjusted so as to realize high-precision charging control.The unit modules and their driving software flow chart were presented.The experiment result shows that the charging system takes only 1 hour for a lithium battery to be charged,comparing its previceusperformance.
