Selecting of Regular Position Correction Navigation Area of FLIR Visual Navigation

Abstract: An useful approach for selecting regular position correction navigation area is proposed to solve the problem of navigation area selecting for the aerobat FLIR (Forward Looking Infra-Red) visual navigation. Combined with the specific navigation task, through the analysis of the common features of infrared and visible light images, using independent pixel number, edge density and self-matching coefficient as the partition indexes, an effective classification searching method is designed, and the basic principle, manipulation steps and flowsheet are given. Another practical matching simulation method is designed, and the experimental results show that this method is valid.
