Differential assisted steering applied on electric vehicle with electric motored wheels

A novel power assisted steering system was proposed for the electric vehicle(EV) with electric motored wheels which features the independent driving of individual wheel. With focus on the differential assisted steering(DAS) system, its working principles were introduced and its feasibility was discussed. A dynamics model for the vehicle including the steering system was built based on Matlab/Simulink. The characteristic curve of the target torque distribution and the control algorithm for the torque output of left and right steering wheels were presented and simulated. The results show that the proposed DAS system meets the demands of the EV with electric motored wheels on the steering maneuverability and the road feel during driving. So, it may be applied on the 4wheel independent motored EV on condition that the traditional mechanical structure of the steering system is maintained. The proposed DAS system enhances the performance of the whole EV with motored wheels and is characterized by reduced cost and complexity.

Vehicle driving state estimation based on extended Kalman filter

A control algorithm using the extended Kalman filtration(EKF) to estimate the vehicle state was suggested. The algorithm based on a 3-DOF nonlinear vehicle model was applied to estimate the yaw rate, the longitudinal velocity, and the ride slip angle of the mass center in the vehicle driving. The estimated vehicle state parameters were compared with the results from the vehicle field test. The comparison demonstrated that the EKF based algorithm can estimate quite accurately the abovementioned vehicle driving state parameters.

Capacity enhancement of impact energy-absorbing member of vehicle

To enhancing the energy-absorbing capacity of the impact energyabsorbing component of the vehicle and to improve the vehicle frontal crashworthiness, the deformation modes and axial crush stiffness of the energyabsorbing component with common round and rectangular crosssections were studied. Using the method of topological optimization, by means of adjusting the axial crush stiffness of the component, a topological optimization model was built to perform the optimization analysis. Based on the obtained results, a new type of the impact energyabsorbing component with concave grooves axially on a pair of the side walls was proposed. The results of the finite element analysis show that the proposed new type of energy-absorbing component is characterized by a good deformation mode, can provide the stable axial supporting force during the deformation and energy-absorbing process without penalty on the mass and space requirements. Compared with the components with round and rectangular crosssections, the impact energyabsorbing capacity of the new component is enhanced significantly.

With the emerging of the alternative fuel and the new combustion mode of the internal combustion engine, it is necessary to study its combustion mechanism and characteristics. The process of methanol homogeneous charge compression ignition(HCCI) combustion was simulated experimentally using a rapid compression machine(RCM). The influence of the intake charge temperature on methanol HCCI combustion characteristics was investigated by analyzing the histories of the incylinder pressure and the piston displacement in the RCM. The results show that with the increase of the charge temperature, the ignition of methanol occurs earlier and earlier, the pressure rise rate and the peak heat release rate increase, and the combustion duration decreases correspondingly.

The numerical simulation was performed on the homogeneous charge compression ignition(HCCI) combustion of ethanol by means of the 0-D single zone model coupled with the modified detailed chemical kinetics mechanism of ethanol oxidation reaction. The main consuming paths of ethanol oxidation as well as the key intermediate products and the important elementary reactions in the ethanol combustion reactions were sorted. The results show that the reaction path C2H5OH+OH→products is a dominant path over all key ethanol consuming paths, and the ethanol oxidation reaction R145:C2H5OH+OH=CH3CH2O+H2O is the most important elementary reaction and the reaction R144:C2H5OH+OH=CH3CHOH+H2O is the second important in all important elementary reactions. The unimolecular decomposition and dehydrogenation of ethanol initiate the branched chain reaction, and the 3 isomers of radical C2H5O determine the direction of the reaction chain branching.

The effects of the ambient temperature on the cold start behavior and the HC emission of an electronically controlled inlet port methanol injection S.I.engine were investigated by means of the single-cycle fuel injection strategy.The results show that the ambient temperature affects significantly the start firing behavior of the engine.When the ambient temperature is below 16 ℃,the methanol engine can not be started without the auxiliary startaids even at high single cycle methanol injection.Using a glowplug to heat the engine inlet manifold and additional LPG injected into the inlet port result in a reliable firing of the engine,and the ideal concept of “next cycle combustion after fuel injection” may be realized at the cold start.The ambient temperature is closely related to the fuel vaporization and fuelair mixture formation, especially at the cold start.The methanol injection amount per cycle sufficient for the reliable firing during the cold start of the engine reduces obviously and the cold start performance improves significantly with a rise in ambient temperature.

Numerical analysis of high pressure turbine tip clearance variation

The high pressure turbine tip clearance variation versus time under different operating conditions were analyzed by the finite element method. The boundary conditions about the temperature and pressure were loaded by means of the segmental application method. The calculation results and their comparison with the experimental data show that the displacement of the blade makes a little contribution to the tip clearance variation, the temperature and the rotational speed are the key issues for the radial deformation of the turbine disc, and the temperature is the major factor affecting the deformation of the turbine shroud and blade.

Regional traffic control strategy optimization method based on H-SVMs

Some indexes for evaluating the regional traffic condition were proposed. On the basis of there indexes a regional traffic control strategy optimization method based on the hierarchical support vector machine(H-SVM) was suggested and two optimized structures of HSVM were designed. The simulations were performed on the platform of VISSIM 4.2 and Matlab 7.01 to test the proposed method. The results show that the optimization method based on the combined binary tree SVM could efficiently and accurately respond to the practical timevarying traffic flow.

Route optimization model for urban hazardous material transportation based on Arc GIS

In order to arrange the route for the hazardous material transportation(Hazmat) reasonably to reduce the harm risk brought by the accidents of Hazmat, a route optimization model was established based on the Arc GIS with the special analysis tool such as buffer. The influence factors in urban Hazmat and the risk expenses on a road section were analyzed. The urban road network in Changchun city was taken as research object, and the model was validated by an actual accident case. The results show that the route optimized by the model is reasonable, and its graphic display is valuable for the Hazmat supervisors.

The Poisson ratio μ variations of the asphalt mixtures versus temperature were measured by the indirect tensile test using the digital image processing technique. Under low temperatures, when the load ratio changes from 0.3 to 0.8, μ keeps relatively invariable, and increases nonlinearly while approaching the peak load. Under high temperatures, μ grows with load ratio increasing. A 3D finite element analysis model was used to analyze the 3 typical pavement structures under rectangular uniform load considering the changes of modulus and μ of the top asphalt layer under different temperatures. The results indicate that the μ of the asphalt mixtures has significant effect on the maximal lateral and shear strains. When the modulus ratio of the top and middle lagers is less than 0.8 and the μ of the asphalt top layer increases to a certain extent, the asphalt mixtures around the edge of wheel mark tend to flow towards both sides of the rut under the action of load, leading to the unstable rut. It is necessary to consider the harmonized combination of the asphalt structure layers and the effect of μ in the structure design of asphalt pavement.

A new kind of foaming material for oil adsorption was prepared by melting blend and mold pressing,with ethylenepropylenediene rubber(EPDM) as the matrix and waste dusty slag as the filler.The effects of foaming agent (AC)and waste dusty slag contents on the oil absorbency were studied.The results show that the oil absorbency reached the highest value with waste dusty slag loading 10 phr(Parts per hundreds of rubber) and AC loading being fixed at 4 phr.The oil retentions were over 90% with AC loadings from 1 to 4 phr,but when AC was over 4 phr,the oil retention decreased deeply.the optimum value of AC loading was 4 phr.Compared the oil absorbtion rates with the foaming composite and non-foaming composite.The results indicates that the oil absorbency of non-foaming composite is 101.46% more than that of EPDM (crosslinked);the oil absorbency of foaming composite composite is 389.82% more than that of nonfoaming composite.The varieties of oil absorbency when the temperature or pH being changed were studied.EPDM is a longchain polymer with saturated mainchain structure,so it can adsorb oil.EPDM was crosslinked with DCP,a network structure was formed in EPDM.Waste dusty slag could reduce some intermolecular interaction of polymer chains to form many channels in the network structure.The oil molecule can come into the network structure easily.

TiC has been synthesized by mechanical alloying employing horizontal planetary ball mill, XRD and SEM technique were used to characterize changes in morphology and microstructure of compound powders. The influence of diameter of milling ball on the milling efficiency, milling energy transfer as well as the reaction mode Ti+C→TiC in the MA process was discussed. The results indicate that the diameter influenced both reaction mode and speed, namely as the ball diameter is small,Ti + C → TiC reaction develops gradually through mechanically induced diffusioncontrolled reaction (MRD);as the ball diameter is large,the reaction progresses rapid in SHS mode.

Effects of technology parameters on microstructure and mechanical properties at the interface between porcelain and titanium

The microstructure and mechanical properties at the interface between porcelain and titanium were studied using SEM,EDS,XRD and electron tensile testing machine.The results show that the interface between porcelain and titanium is composed of oxide layer formed on titanium and reaction zone between oxide layer and porcelain,the technology parameters have great effects on the microstructure of interface,the bonding strength and fracture position.Among them, the firing temperature demonstrates great effect on the bonding strength between the porcelain and titanium, wnich is 24.7 MPa under a firing condition of 800 ℃ and 1 min holding time. With the increase of firing temperature and time,the thickness of the oxide layer and reaction zone rise,which influences the bonding strength of porcelain to titanium finally.

Mechanism of microporous injection molding

A spherical model was used to study physical process of the gas bubble growth, and its governing equations were derived and solved.The influence of the microporous molding pressure (MMP) and the amount of the foaming agent(N2) on the density, size and morphology of the gas bubble were investigated experimentally taking the instrument panel of Hongqi car as an example. The results show that the more enhancing the bubble nucleation and the larger the amount of the foaming agent, the smaller the bubble cell size. The optimum values of MPP and the amount of N2 are 14 MPa and 1.2% respectively. The calculation results by the model about the abovementioned aspects are in agreement with the experimental ones, but the model car not predict the forming defects of the bubble.

Pre-calculating precisely the parameters of the splitting force is significant for the design of the splitting equipment and working out the technological process. The software MSC.MARC was used to simulate the splitting process of the main bearing block(its material is vermicular graphite cast iron as example) in Jetta car engines, and the splitting force versus J-integral relationship was obtained. The critical Jintegral value was determined from the Jintegral versus fracture toughness relationship, and the splitting force was derived by the linear interpolation method. The experimental study was performed and results show that the proposed method can be used to determine the splitting for the other splitting parts with different shapes and materials.

Suppression of dimples in digital multi-point stretching process

The fundamentals of the digital multipoint stretching process were introduced. The numerical simulations for the traditional stretching and the digital multipoint stretching process of the saddle part were performed by ANSYS/LSDYNA software. The generation and suppression of dimples in the multipoint stretching process were studied. The results showed that the enveloping dimple and the concaveconvex dimple are the main styles produced in the multipoint stretching process. The dimples can be suppressed effectively by application of the elastic cushion and the thicker the elastic cushion the better its dimple suppression effect, but thick cushion leads to large error between the shape of the obtained part and its target shape. The work piece with smooth surface and small error can be achieved by the elastic cushion with appropriate thickness.

Rapid algorithm based on mesh to determine stamping direction of automobile panels

The stamping direction is important for the forming quality of automobile panels.To determine the reasonable direction of the panel, taking the stamping direction vector as design variable based on mesh data of automobile panels, an algorithm model was established based on the criteria such as avoidance of dead angle, minimization of drawing depth, and maximization of initial contact area. The corresponding program module was developed in Visual C++ using unit sperical mesh intersection algorithm to get the feasible stamping direction vector domain rapidly. The feasibility of the algorithm was proved by the creation of stamping directions of some practical parts and the relevant numerical simulation of stamping depth.

Near infrared detector with three wavelengths for grain protein content

The current state of NIR spectrology and NIR instruments was analysed. Then a NIR detector for grain protein content was developed. This detector is composed of a radiation source unit with three single wavelength LEDs, a signal detecting unit, SCM data processing unit and software. It is characterized by simple structure, small volume and easy to use with no mobile parts. Using this detector, measurements were conducted on 35 selected samples, which show obviously nonlinear relationship between the absorbency and the sample protein content. The correlation coefficients between the actual protein content and the calculated protein content by MLR and BP ANN are 0.6491 and 0.9372 respectively, the corresponding average relative errors are 9.66% and 3.46% respectively. So BP ANN was chosen as the calibration method. This detector can satisfy the requirement for grain protein content detection.

A new method for computing the interval eigenvalues of structures with large variations of interval parameters was discussed.Using the Taylor series and interval extension theory,the interval eigenvalue problems of structures with multiintervalparameter can be transformed into that of single interval parameter.Epsilonalgorithm was used to obtain the eigenvalues of structures with large variations of parameters,thus obtaining the upper and lower bounds of eigenvalues.Finally,a numerical example was given to illustrate the application of the present method,and the efficiency and validity were proved by the results.

BFGS algorithm for structural static reanalysis of topological modification

A new method for the structural static reanalysis of the topological modification was presented using the superlinear convergence property of the BFGS quasiNewton algorithm. According to the analysis results of the original system, the starting iterative matrixes of the BFGS modification iterative matrixapproximation inverse Hesse matrix for all three cases of modification corresponding the number of DoF is unchanged, decreased, or increased were set. Compared with the BFGS algorithm with traditional random selecting the starting iterative as the unit matrix, application of the proposed algorithm to get the response of the modified structure leading to reduce significantly the computational cost. The numerical results proved the exactitude and effectiveness of the proposed structure reanalysis algorithm.

Lateral brace arrangement for large-span half-through concrete filled steel tube arch bridge

The reasonable space of Mibrace and X-brace commonly used in the large-span half-through concrete filled steel tube(CFST) arch bridge was researched. Considering that both the solution of the structure natural vibration frequency and mode as well as its elastic stability coefficient can transform into eigenvalue problem of the structure dynamic equilibrium equation, taking the fundamental frequency and the elastic stability coefficient of the structure as the evaluation criteria, the possible arrangements of Mi-brace and X-brace for halfthrough CFST arch bridge with 360 m span were comparatively analyzed, and the advices for the reasonable space of the Mibrace and the X-brace were advanced. Keeping the same bracing region and the similar material consumption, four arrangement schemes of the lateral brace system were presented and their ultimate loading capacity were calculated. It was concluded that the method to determine the structural parameters by summing up the results of the modal analysis and the elastic stability analysis is practicable. For the case studied in this paper the X-brace can satisfy the stiffness requirement and provide a simple and light visual effect.

Analysis on overall buckling behaviour of ultra-high strength steel columns by ANSYS

The finite element analyses(FEAs) were performed using the general software ANSYS for the overall buckling behaviors of the 5 ultra-high strength steel welded I-seetion columns under the axial compression. The building procedure of the FEA model and the solution programs were introduced in detail. The method to simulate the initial geometric defects and the residual stresses in the cross-sections were proposed. The effectiveness of the performed FEA was verified by the comparison between the FEA results and the test results. The FEA also indicated that the residual stress only has little effect on the overall buckling resistance of the ultrahigh strength steel columns.

In the semantic searching, the semantic similarity calculation model is crucial to ensure the searching results being allsided and exact. A new semantic similarity calculation model, PHSS, was proposed based on improving the traditional models. Both the hierarchy and the property restrictions of the concepts were taken into consideration in this new model. The semantic distance between two concepts was described more accurately. Based on this model, a semantic search system, CDPPIRS, for preventing and curing plant disease and insect pests of corn was also constructed. This system can carry out semantic reasoning based on query information and the repository, and provide accurate bibliographies to the users according to their different kinds of enquiries. This system satisfies the enquiries of different level agricultural professionals. Experiment results in CDPPIRS show that the PHSS model is better than traditional models.

Global optimization algorithm based on immune algorithm and

In solving global optimization, immune algorithm is usually weak in local search, while evolutionary diffusion optimization is weak in global search. To overcome these shortcomings, an immune-evolutionary-diffusion optimization algorithm was proposed. This algorithm combines the advantages of the immune algorithm and evolutionary diffusion optimization. On one hand, it retains the diversity of colony through importing the niche algorithm; on the other hand, it improves the efficiency of the algorithm by proposing a strategy of dynamically adjusting the parameter of step size. Experimental results show that, regarding the efficiency and stability for a given precision, this algorithm performs better than Tisui's evolutionary diffusion optimization and Ingber's adaptive simulated annealing algorithm. The strategy of dynamically adjusting the parameter of step size was analyzed.

Hybrid optimization algorithm and its performance

A real-coded hybrid optimization algorithm, IGPSOA, was proposed, which was based on genetic algorithm, particle swarm optimization and immune algorithm. The nonlinear competition and selection methods among several crossover offsprings operator and particle swarm optimization operator were proposed to increase the efficiency of the algorithm. Immune selection and new member creation operators were used to retain the diversity of the population and to avoid premature and local convergence. The convergence and computing complexity were theoretically analyzed. The robustness of the algorithm and the range of the parameters were tested by numerical experiments. Testing experiments on 7 benchmark functions show that IGPSOA not only improves the global optimization performance and quickens the convergence speed but also obtains robust solution with better quality, indicating that it is a promising approach for global optimizations.

The key generation algorithm of Rijndael and Mars was introduced. By comparison with Data Encryption Standard (DES), the concept to design new key generation algorithm of block ciphers was analyzed. The weaknesses of the key generation design of Rijndael were investigated, and a new designing strategy was developed, which can be used to improve the key generation algorithm. Analysis shows that such improvement can enhance the safety of the original algorithm without reducing its efficiency.

Many compiler-directed Scratch-Pad-Memory (SPM) management methods using both static and dynamic approaches have been proposed to obtain optimized utilization of SPM components. Important issues in those methods are determining the SPM layouts under limited size and maximizing the reuse of data in SPM. To address these issues, a compiler optimization pass for the data SPM based on call chain analysis was developed. It makes some non-call related functions share storage space for their local variables, which reduces runtime memory requirement of program and increases access of SPM. Consequently, it can be combined with existing compilerdirected SPM management methods to enhance performance and lower energy consumption.

The concept of feature forest based on the Attributed Adjacency Graph (AAG) and the history of features creation was presented. The feature forest was used as the heuristic information to recognize the interacting features. Selforganized neural network was employed as the recognizer. After the AAG breaks down, the input dimension of the neural was dynamically calculated according to the subgraphs, and an algorithm of the vectorization was provided. Case study validates the proposed method, which provides a new approach for the feature recognition and maintenance.

Subpixel algorithm is an effective method to improve the error of edge location under assured hardware condition. Aiming at the circle parameters detection of small size parts in industry, a novel algorithm for subpixel location of circle parameters was proposed based on Zernike moments, quadratic polynomial interpolation and leastsquares method. First, orthogonal circle operator was modeled in terms of Zernike orthogonal complex moment; the one-to-one mapping between the edge point and the parameters of the circle was established by the algorithm. Then, quadratic polynomial interpolation was adopted to further locate the edge points in the gradient direction. Finally, the subpixel-level circle parameters can be obtained by fitting the edge points using least-square method. Experiments were conducted on small circular inertial device to validate the algorithm and to study its detecting precision. Results show that the detecting precision is higher than traditional operators and the algorithm is very effective in detecting subpixellevel circle edges for realtime online measurement.

Subpixel location algorithm for circle target center based on spatial moment

To meet the requirement of high location precision for circle target center, a novel subpixel location algorithm based on spatial moment was proposed. A spatial moment based algorithm was developed to detect the edge of a circle, and the subpixel location of circle target center was determined using the least meansquare fitting algorithm. It overcomes the large error shortcoming of traditional Lyvers spatial moment algorithm in locating circle target center. Comparing simulation results show that the precision of circle target center obtained by the proposed algorithm is higher than that obtained by other algorithms.

The real-time system based on the traditional Web mode is characterized by unsatisfactory user experience, high latency for the browser, low response rate and so on. Consequently, taking the monitoring of partial discharge on the cable terminals as an example, through the analysis of the Ajax technique and Web mode, with the combination of the Web 2.0, Comet and Continuations, a realtime monitoring system was developed based on Web and discretization of the 3-D map coupled with div technique to simulate the local renovation of the application program on desk. Based on this mode the system is characterized by noflashing display, high quality realtime response and need of the server for little resource of CPU and memory against huge quantity of client ends.

Decentralized adaptive sliding mode control for reconfigurable manipulators using fuzzy logic

For reconfigurable manipulators, it is very difficult to design effective controllers due to diverse configurations. To satisfy the concept of modular software design, a decentralized adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control scheme for the reconfigurable manipulators was proposed. The dynamics of the manipulators was represented as a set of interconnected subsystems. Then fuzzy logic system was used to approximate the unknown dynamics of the subsystem, and a sliding mode controller with an adaptive scheme was designed to avoid both interconnection term and fuzzy approximation error. These subsystem controllers constitute a modular control network to achieve atable and reliable motion of a reconfigurable manipulator. Simulation results show the validity of the proposed decentralized control scheme.

Considering the dynamic model of wheeled mobile robot with non-holonomic constraint and input saturation, quasiinfinite horizon nonlinear model predictive control of its full dynamic error system was studied. Local stabilization controller and invariant terminal region were obtained by online linearization along the nominal trajectory. Simulation results presented in term of tracking “8shape” trajectory show better tracking performance with the satisfaction of control input constraints.

For the piezothermoelastic intelligent laminated plate, a calculation method of the system uncertainty after the balanced reduction was derived on the basis of the twopoint method, the solution of eigenvalue and eigenvector against the sensitivity, the first-order Taylor series expansion and the interval mathematics. For the obtained system with reduced uncertainty, the formation of the generalized control object, the solution process of the H∞ robust controller to suppress the structure vibration were discussed, and the decomposing form of the uncertainty matrix with lower dimensionality was given. Taking an intelligent cantilever plate as an example, the comparison between the outputs from the original uncertainty system and from the reduced uncertainty system with the same input showed that the original system can be substituted approximately by the reduced system. The vibration suppression of the original system can be realized by the H∞ robust controller derived from the reduced system. The calculation example proved the feasibility of the suggested method.

The precision of the traditional ultrasonic localization method is limited due to unsufficiently precise estimation of the sound velocity and the time of flight(TOF), therefore, a new method, the special fusion method for redundancy ultrasonic information(SFMRUI) was proposed to solve the precision problem. SFMRUI uses the geometric relationships among the redundant information and the implicit relationships between the redundant information and the error to correct the error. It is possible to eliminate the error of TOF, to calculate the wave lagging error and to estimate the measurement accuracy by SFMRUI. The experiments and simulations were performed and their results proved that the SFMRUI is correct and effective to improve the absolute localization accuracy. The proposed method is superior obviously to the traditional method and the time difference method.

Fixed size matrix segmentation and fixed size transform are normally used in the color image compression methods based on three dimensional matrix wide discrete cosine transform (3 DMWDCT). However this fixed size segmentation can not effectively exploit image relativity since different areas of an image have different statistical properties. Here a color image compression algorithm using variable matrix size 3 DMWDCT and based on variable sized matrix segmentation was proposed. This algorithm divides the original color image into variable sized subthreedimensional matrices according to the activity characteristics of the image. Then the variable sized 3 DMWDCT was applied to the corresponding sized subthreedimensional matrices. DCT coefficients were quantized through nonlinear scalar quantization and entropy coding. Experimental results show that the compression efficiency of the proposed algorithm is better than that of JPEG at low bit rate. Compared with JPEG, the proposed algorithm improves PSNR at most 2dB, and the quality of the reconstructed images is improved in subject evaluation.

An adaptive conjugate gradient algorithm based on subband decompsition structure was proposed for acoustic echo cancellation in communication systems. Through frequency decomposition technique and conjugate gradient algorithm, adaptive filters operate in each decimated subband. This proposed algorithm can ensure convergence with high speed and reduce computational complexity. Simulation results indicate that the algorithm demonstrates good performance for acoustic echo cancellation.

A kernel-based method to find global orthogonal discriminant vectors was proposed. This method first maps training data into a high dimensional feature space through kernel function concept in Support Vector Machine and constructs orthogonal space in the feature space. Then it maps the data from feature space into the orthogonal space and computes Fisher criterion based global orthogonal discriminants. Experiments on ORL face image datasets show that compared with current general discriminant algorithm (GDA), modified general discriminant algorithm and kernel based direct discriminant algorithm, the proposed method has a better performance in precision and robustness.

A video driving scheme for the active matrix organic light emitting device(AMOLED) was proposed, including the driving circuitry on screen and the peripheral driving circuitry. The former employs the Ptype polyS thin film transistor(TFT) to simplify the manufacture process of TFT, to reduce the manufacture cost, and to enhance the end product yield rate. The latter provides the control and clock signals for the driving circuitry on screen and accomplishes the video data processing. The correctness of the circuitry was verified using HSPICE and QUARTUSⅡ as development platforms respectively, and the FPGA programming, simulation, downloading and testing were realized.

A multiple-rate modulation scheme based on the automatic repeat request (ARQ) protocol was proposed to achieve Shannon capacity in spacetime coding systems. In this scheme, modulation bit rate was determined at the receiver for each packet according to the channel state information (CSI) and was conveyed back to the transmitter. If the channel fading is so deep that even one bit can not be afforded, the ARQ protocol was used for a retransmission. The analysis of the proposed scheme proves that the throughput only depends on the average transmit SNR and the product of transmit antenna number and receive antenna number. The throughput expression was derived and its limitation was proved to be the Shannon capacity. The simulation results show that this scheme largely outperforms the constant schemes.

In order to reduce severe effects of inter-carrier interference (ICI) in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system caused by time variance of the channel, the time domain ICI selfcancellation (TDISC) scheme and the pilot assisted sub-optimal combination TDISC algorithm were proposed. Through simulations and analysis, it was proved that the proposed algorithm can effectively combat the time variance of the channel and improve OFDM system performance in high speed mobile environment.

The extension of the performance analysis of a non-regenerative relay cooperative system to Nakagami-m fading channel was conducted. Probability Density Function (PDF) with PSK modulation was derived. On the basis of this PDF, the expressions for average error rate and outage probability with different fading parameter and modulation factor were also obtained. By Monte Carlo simulations which are the theoretical proof and numerical reference for practical projects, the validation of the correctness of this theoretical analysis extension was proved.

The output, gd, of MOSFET in CMOS 0.13 μm technology and working in very low voltage was investigated, and design formulas were given. Based on the investigation results, a twostage opamp was designed and simulation was carried out. The variation equation of the satellite orbit elements under both J2 and drag perturbations was derived based on the Gauss perturbation equation. Introducing the concept of virtual reference satellite, by expanding the real satellite dynamics to the first order around the virtual one, the relative motion of the real satellite with respect to the virtual one was analyzed to build a model for the linear timevarying relative motion between formation satellites under both the J2 and drag perturbations. The comparison of the simulated results with the STK high precision orbit prediction module shows that for the elliptical reference orbit formation(its size no more than 10 km), the proposed algorithm can quite precisely predict the change of the formation, thus the effectiveness of the given algorithm was verified.

Due to the existence of interference and nonlinear background in X-ray spectrum, there are errors in the results of quantitative analysis on electron probe, especially for the lower element content. In order to measure and deduct the X-ray background intensity exactly, the background measurement and deduction method was investigated and corresponding software of control and measurement was designed. It was combined with several methods, including determining the interference through the characteristic X-ray spectral database of the measured element, scanning the spectrum accurately by adding measurement points, simulating spectrum by linear and polynomial fitting. It was approved by standard samples, III-HN852 and I-E0781. Compared with the regular method, the interference was reduced and the accuracy of quantitative analysis was improved.

Nitrogen percolation behavior in water saturated core

The flow behavior of nitrogen in cores with different water saturation levels was studied using a graduated gasliquid separator to simultaneously measure the gas and water flow rate from the cores. The experimental results indicate that under the constant nitrogen injection pressure, the effluent water increases slowly at the beginning of the nitrogen injection process, then increases sharply before the gas-breakthrough. The average nitrogen effluent velocity increases exponentially with time in the studied time intervals. The gas-breakthrough time shortens and the effluent volume of water increases with the increase of the injection pressure, which means that the nitrogen percolation velocity and swept volume increases in the core. It was indicated that the nitrogen percolation behavior changes with its invasion volume. When the nitrogen injection pressure increases, the apparent relative permeability of nitrogen in core increases sharply at first, and slowly later, which may be attributed to the gas slippage effect weakened by compression. On the contrary, the apparent relative permeability of nitrogen in water saturated core increases slowly at first with the increase of water saturation and increases slowly when it drops to a critical value due to the enhancement of gas slippage effect by inflation.

Fast dissolution of dissoluble calcium from bovine bone treated by high intensity pulsed electric fields

Fast dissolution of dissoluble calcium from bovine bone treated by high intensity pulsed electric fields (PEF) was investigated, in which the admixture of citric acid and malic acid was used as the mixed acid. Results show that the PEF dissolution speed is much faster and the obtained content of dissoluble calcium is much more than that of the traditional methods. The mathematical model of the effects of field strength, pulse number and mixed acid on the dissolution content of calcium was established. The optimum condition was determined as: field strength of 23 kV/cm, pulse number of 12 and mixed acid of 3.881 g. Under such condition the maximal obtained content of dissoluble calcium is 12.90 mg/mL.

Estimation of soil properties in mine wasteland based on spectroscopy and remote sensing

To study the influence of the wasteland of opencast coalmineon on the development of eco-environment, soil samples were collected from 36 positions with typical surface features within the wasteland in Haizhou Opencast Coalmine in Fuxin City. The contents of total nitrogen (TN), available nitrogen, available phosphorous, available potassium, pH value, organic matter (SOM), and EC of the samples were measured; the correlation between the hyperspectral data and soil nutrient parameters was analyzed. Results show that the reflectance has positive correlation with pH, while it has negative correlation with TN, SOM and available phosphorous. High correlations were not observed between other soil nutrient parameters and hyperspectral reflectance. Within the band of 600 nm to 1000 nm, the absolute values of correlation coefficients between the spectral reflectance and pH value, SOM, TN are higher than that between spectral reflectance and phosphorous. Based on above results, estimation equations were established between soil parameters and gray information of SPOT5 satellite image, the equations' precision was satisfactory. The hyperspectral data and remote sensing images can be used for quantitative estimation of soil nutrients in mine wasteland. It can also provide fast, effective and surface information of large area for revegetation decision-making.

The current output of Chinese car is in the third place in the international community, and but the comprehensive performance, technical content, particularly, the influence of Chinese car are inferior. Highly decentralized Chinese car industry and regional barrier result in smallscale car corporation; the minor auto platform and modal, imperfect product structure, and the unsynchronization between the car components production and the entire car manufacture make Chinese car industry be in the weakness position. The thesis indicates that industrial structure must be readjusted as soon as possible; the merger, union and recombination inside the industry, which aim at formation of industrial scale and expanding types of independent brands, should be encouraged. The keys to Chinese car industry development are independent innovation of car core technology and the cultivation of professional creative talents.
