Abstract: The authors establish a mathematical model for the efflux hammer as well as a differential equation for piston movement in strike and backhaul phase. Using Simulink, a tool in Matlab, the authors simulate the element of hammer and hammer’s impacting system. The simulated data are displacement, velocity, front and back pressure, and acceleration.

Key words: hydro-efflux hammer, math model, imitating analyse
