Ray-Tracing of Wavefront Construction by Bicubic Convolution Interpolation

Abstract: To overcome the problems of the interpolation of the velocity and velocity derivative on non-grid during wavefront construction, a more accurate interpolation algorithm, called bicubic convolution interpolation, has been presented. Numerical results show that the interpolation method can get more accurate rays. And comparing with the double 3-order polynomial interpolation method, the velocity and velocity derivative on non-grid in wavefront construction can be computed more accurate and faster by the bicubic interpolation method.
