Development of Heating and Cooling Equipment with Saving Energy & Environment Protection—Ground Source Heat Pump System

Abstract: Ground source heat pump(GSHP) system can provide heating and cooling with higher efficiency and cleaner environment,by means of the un exploitative utilization of shallow ground energy source(soil,groundwater,surfacewater,and surplus energy produced by industry and human living).Ground energy source substituting conventional energy source(air source)in the heat pump,has a reverse temperature change state(warm in winter and cold in summer),a small temperature variation,and big storage of energy.It can attain regeneration of energy and GSHP systems realize green,clean environment.Furthermore,the GSHP systems can be used in the north (cold climate),and can provide heating and cooling with the same system and equipment.This paper summarizes the development of GSHP system in the world and the feasibility of its utilization in the northern districts of China.
