Effect of low temperature on vehicle fuel consumption

Abstract: Based on the fuel consumption model given in the HDM-Ⅲ model system by the world bank,a low temperature vehicle fuel consumption model for frigid regions of China was established from vehicle fuel consumption tests on flat and straight sections of different roads under low temperature conditions,giving the correction to HDM-Ⅲ for its application in frigid regions of China.
